The Kinks - The Kink Kontroversy
Hey so I guess I got back in time for another album post tonight. In my opinion, this album is the most underrated Kinks album, but it shows a group coming into their entity and is surely a classic Kinks album. It contains a few gems such as the opener "Milk Cow Blues" and "Where Have All The Good Times Gone?". In my mind, the Kinks are one of the greatest bands of all time. I mean seriously, if you look at all the great albums they've made, no one ever talks about The Kink Kontroversy, but I just bought on a whim a year ago, and it was a great introduction to the Kinks for me. The tunes are just so well-crafted by the Davies brothers and cos, and I mean how can you not tap your foot to "Gotta Get the First Plane Home"? HIGHLY recommended for fans of the Kinks, or fans of music for that matter.
And on a side note, I have to ask a girl to the Ring Dance by Friday, and I'm not really sure how I should go about doing this. Eh, I'll figure it out.
